Significant Experiential Learning Activity

The goal of this activity is to get students off campus, to apply their studies to the real world!

All Liberal Studies majors are required to complete a significant experiential activity that enriches classroom time with concrete experience. This may include: internship, co-op, presenting a research paper of original, scholarly work at a professional conference or in an academic journal, or study abroad.

There are many exciting possibilities, including scholarships for study abroad and funding opportunities for conference presentations.

The Liberal Studies Convener must approve the significant experiential learning activity, and she can help you decide which option is best for you and your learning goals.
