As you can see from our Success Stories, International Studies majors at Ramapo often hold internships that help prepare them for careers in related fields. All our majors are required to either study abroad or complete a substantial internship or co-op before graduation. In the last few years, students have held internships and/or co-ops at:

STUDY ABROAD

We strongly encourage our students to study abroad and we work closely with them to ensure that they can take courses that count toward their major while abroad. Roughly half our majors study abroad. All our majors are required to either study abroad or complete a substantial internship or co-op before graduation. In recent years, our majors have studied abroad in:

We are often asked what kinds of careers a major in International Studies might lead to. Typical career tracks for International Studies student across the country include diplomatic service, international business, non-governmental organizations and non-profits, study abroad offices, and multinational organizations.
