We hope that this site will be informative and helpful to you, whether you are the parent, guardian, spouse, or another family member of a student anticipating registering at or currently registered at Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Ramapo recognizes that families play an important role in assisting students in the selection of a college and in supporting them in their college experience. We know that attending a college marks a major transition point in the individuals’ lives, and it is our hope that we can help support that transition for both our students and their families.

Arch Connections: Parent Edition (Family Newsletter)

Arch Connections: Parent Edition, news from Ramapo College and the Foundation, is a monthly newsletter e-mailed to parents and family members of current students. Each issue includes updates on academics, social events, campus policies and college achievements. Photos and hyperlinks are provided to direct readers to further information, including highlights on the Ramapo College website. Parents and family members can sign up for the newsletter during the check-in process at orientation, or online by clicking the link below.

Center for Student Success

The staff for Center for Student Success is dedicated to the successful academic and social integration of all of our students and are very excited to inform you of our many services. Center for Student Success services include Academic Advisement, New Student Orientation (First Year Students/Transfers/ Readmits/Adult Learners/Families), Welcome Week, Retention Programs, Personal Development Workshops, Family Day, and the administration of specific groups within the Ramapo Self Service online community. We look forward to working with you so that your student may have a successful and enriching experience at Ramapo College.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education, governs the privacy, access to and release of a student’s personal information with respect to their educational records. Students may consent to release this information to family members through the completion of a FERPA waiver. Additional information about FERPA and the Waiver is available online. Office of Student Accounts / Payment, Deadlines, and Billing

Bills from Ramapo College are generated online and sent directly to the student’s personal account. Bills are not sent out in any paper format, so it is important to discuss financial information with your student. Learn more about payments, deadlines and billing.

Financial Aid

Campus Housing

The Mission of the Office of the Registrar is to provide a variety of academic services to students, prospective students, graduates, parents, faculty, staff and the general public. Among these services is a well communicated registration process and the maintenance of student records in an environment of integrity and security in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and other state and federal regulations.
