Give to Ramapo

By offering unrestricted support to the College, the fund for Ramapo College affords leadership the flexibility to embrace new ideas and emerging opportunities, while meeting the continually-evolving needs of the Ramapo community. We rely on the support from individuals like you. Your philanthropic support ensures we can offer an array of student scholarships, provide diverse programs that are collaborative and innovative and ensure Ramapo has the resources to reach all of its goals. CARES ACT and IRA Charitable Rollover for the 2020 Tax Year

Individuals who do not generally itemize their tax returns can now deduct $300 for cash/credit card donations through the CARES Act (if you are married and filing jointly, the deduction is still limited to $300).  This universal deduction is available regardless of whether taxpayers itemize or take the standard deduction on their taxes. With the CARES Act, if you donate up to $300 in cash to a qualified organization, your adjusted gross income will be reduced up to $300.

Two additional opportunities with tax benefits include the donation of appreciated securities and gifts made through the IRA Charitable Rollover program.  Please contact David Terdiman, Assistant Vice President of Advancement, with any questions about these opportunities, 201.684.7179/dterdima@ramapo.edu.
