Trillium

Trillium PosterTrillium is Ramapo College’s Literary Magazine. Since the early 1970’s–for more than 40 years–Trillium has featured the poetry, fiction, photography, and other visual arts created by Ramapo College’s students. Trillium is edited by students in Literature’s Magazine Workshop class, but the content is contributed by students from across the college. The magazine is published every spring and is available free of charge all year round.

Submission Guidelines:

Trillium, Ramapo’s literary and art magazine, seeks submissions of original student work, including original fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, photography, painting, drawing, and digital images. In addition to the usual genres, this year’s editors are interested in microfiction, memoir, narrative poetry, excerpts of scripts, collage and comics. We are not biased against any form and consider all submissions on their own merits.

The current edition is available at: https://www.ramapo.edu/trillium/

Submit up to 3 poems and/or 3 pieces of visual art, and/or prose (e.g., stories, scripts) up to a word count of 2,000. Email submissions or questions to trillium@ramapo.edu. If you are submitting visual art, please avoid sending large email attachments; instead, send an email request for a Dropbox link.

Deadline: Monday, 2/28/2022. We look forward to seeing your submissions.
