All students are always encouraged to fill out the FAFSA, see instructions below – by filling out the document, you and your family may qualify for loans and/or grants to assist you. The Ramapo School Code is 009344 http://www.finaid.ucsb.edu/fafsasimplification/

Once you fill out the FAFSA and receive what you are eligible for, you can work with a Financial aid counselor to look at your balance due, and loans and/or grants that can be applied to assist you.
Graduate students who apply for the FAFSA can qualify for up to $20,500 per year.
During this unprecedented time, to cover college costs, temporarily, an alternative loan can assist you and your family – you can apply for and explore those options here – https://www.elmselect.com/v4/
If you have not yet explored Parent Plus loans, this can assist you as well – https://www.ramapo.edu/finaid/files/2020/01/Parent-Private-Loan-Tip-Sheet.pdf
After exploring your financial aid loan options on this page, Ramapo has dedicated loan counselors to assist you – and you can reach them directly at finaid@ramapo.edu . We will assist you as soon as you contact us.
Staff in Student Accounts, Financial Aid, Student Success, and other offices are happy to meet you on video chat/Google Meet, etc. if that is most convenient. Please ask a staff member in the appropriate office for more information on meeting remotely.
THANK YOU! As a community, the COVID-19 challenge will soon pass. We hope by working 1 on 1 with our staff with the options presented above, we are able to assist and support you during this uncertain time and in the future.
