Transferring Credits to Other Colleges and Universities
  1. Can you guarantee that the course will transfer to another college/university?
There is no assurance that these credits will transfer to another college/university or satisfy degree requirements at said college/university. Each institution has different transfer credit policies and it is the responsibility of the Dual Enrollment Student to understand the policies of the college/university the student wishes to attend.
  2. Will I automatically be accepted to Ramapo College if I take Dual Enrollment courses?
Permission to register as a Dual Enrollment Student in no way suggests or implies that you will be admitted as a matriculated student to Ramapo College either now or in the future.
  3. If I am admitted and decide to attend Ramapo College, will my Dual Enrollment courses automatically be accepted?
Credits earned through Ramapo College’s Dual Enrollment Program are automatically accepted at Ramapo and will be applied to the student’s degree audit upon being successfully admitted and enrolled in the College as a matriculated student in the future.
Transcript Request

*Highly Recommended* Electronic Transcripts: Electronic Transcript (E-Transcript)

Ramapo College works with the National Student Clearinghouse to assist with the electronic transcript processing for Official Transcript requests. The National Student Clearinghouse will notify students at each step in the process. Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. Their college/university will have 30 days to download the Official Transcript email link. Once an order has been placed, they will not be allowed to change the recipient’s email address and they will have to place a new order with the correct address. Due to the automated ordering process, once an order is received it cannot be canceled. Dual Enrollment students do not have to pay for their Ramapo College transcript, it is included in the price of the class.

Paper Copy of Transcript: Official Transcript Request Form (pdf)

To request an official transcript, the student must fill out the Official Transcript Request Form. Typically, official transcripts are processed in 3-5 business days. Students will have to print and complete the Official Transcript Request Form and either email, fax, or mail to the Registrar’s Office. Official Transcripts cannot be emailed, faxed, or mailed to the student so the paper copy has to be picked up at the Ramapo College Office of Registrar and Photo ID must be presented to pick up your transcript. Dual Enrollment students do not have to pay for their Ramapo College transcript, it is included in the price of the class.
