Freshmen

This fall, Ramapo College welcomes over 900 freshmen primarily from New Jersey, the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States and from many foreign countries. In 2017 Ramapo College received applications from all 21 counties in NJ, 21 different states and 31 foreign countries.

Ramapo College of New Jersey welcomes applications from International Students seeking an F1 student visa.  Students from more than 40 countries are currently attending Ramapo College.  In 2017 Ramapo received applications form students in 31 different countries.

Transfer

Each year more than 700 transfer students enroll at Ramapo College of New Jersey. These students enter from more than 135 colleges nationwide including 35 New Jersey colleges. Approximately 60 percent of these students enroll from two-year colleges. Ramapo also enrolls transfer students from countries all over the world.

Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF)

The mission of the EOF is to provide access to higher education and support for highly motivated students who exhibit the potential for success, but who come from families/communities disadvantaged by low income and a lack of access to quality educational preparation necessary to attend college.

Re-Admit

If you are a matriculated student (accepted and enrolled in a specific degree program) who voluntarily interrupts your study at Ramapo for two or more consecutive semesters, you must apply for readmission before resuming study. Students who have not attended Ramapo in three or more years must resubmit all official transcripts.

Non-Degree / Visiting Students

If you wish to take courses to help with job skills or for personal enrichment, you never attended college but wish to try college by taking a course at Ramapo, currently attend another college or university and wish to take a class at Ramapo as a visiting student, then Ramapo College is a great place to start.

Scholarships

Ramapo College offers merit based scholarships for freshmen applicants. Freshmen applications MUST be received by December 15, 2017 and complete by January 15, 2018 to be considered. Click here for more details.
