Current students are often familiar with the college, but occasionally need some additional support.  The following are helpful resources for current students:

Your Resident Assistants

Ramapo College Resident Assistants (RA) are trained peer leaders who supervise students living in our residence halls and housing facilities. Our RAs have many roles and responsibilities, having to balance not only their own normal work, but also help resident students. Resident Assistants at Ramapo College are trained and knowledgeable and a constant resource for student residents.

First-Year Students

In order to be eligible for on campus housing for Spring 2021, students must meet one of the criteria listed below in order to apply. To complete this application, students will be emailed an individualized link on or about November 30, 2020. Applications will be due December 6, 2020.

  • Students who are housing insecure – this includes students for whom the College serves as their primary residence, who have abusive home life situations, and who have unreliable technology at home that could prevent access to an education
  • EOF Scholars
  • Students who are enrolled in in-person classes to be held on campus who do not have a car and for whom public transportation would be a hardship
  • International students who are enrolled in in-person classes to be held on campus in order to be in compliance with the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)
  • Athletes (in-season and if sport is active for the semester)
  • Students who live outside of a 45-mile radius to the campus who are enrolled in at least one in-person class to be held on campus
  • Students who must take at least one in-person class to be held on campus in order to fulfill the requirements of their major
  • Students enrolled in required clinical rotations or fieldwork including student teaching assignments
  • Students who have internships

Graduate Students

Graduate students reside in the College Park Apartments (CPA), in either a one bedroom (2 person) apartment or a 4 person duplex apartment. Placement is based on availability.

The apartment complex consists of fourteen buildings adjacent to The Overlook and Kameron Pond.

Apartments house approximately 560 students in two – or three-story buildings with two bedrooms, bath, and kitchen/living room. There are some duplexes. The College Park Apartments are designated dry (alcohol is prohibited).

One bedroom -2 person Apartment $5,005.00

Two bedroom-4 person Apartment $4500.00
