Printing

Printing/Copying Allowance

  • Each student will receive 200 pages per academic year at no charge.
  • This allowance will reset at the beginning of each academic year (each fall semester). Unused allowance will not roll over.
  • Students who transfer in for the spring semester will receive 100 pages.

Need More Pages?

  • After using the first 200 pages, additional printing credits may be purchased through PaperCut. Please note that no refund will be given at the end of the year for unused credits.
  • Visit http://print.ramapo.edu to view usage and add funds.

Printing/Copying Costs

  • Single-sided page: $0.10.
  • Double-sided printing is considered 2 pages.

Where can students print or copy?

Students can only print or copy in the Fishbowl (across from the Micro Market), or in the Learning Commons on floors 1, 2, 3, and 4.


How to Print

  1. Sign into https://print.ramapo.edu. Note: This site is only available on-campus.
  2. Click “Web Print” in the menu on the left side of the screen.
  3. Click “Submit a Job”
  4. Click “Upload Documents” and “Upload & Complete” when done.

How to Release Your Print

  1. At any of the swipe-to-release printers in the Learning Commons or Fishbowl, swipe your Ramapo ID card.
  2. On the printer’s display, press “Print All” to release your print. Then press “Log Out”.

Faculty Printing

All faculty have access to a shared pool of printers located in or near the Dean’s Suite offices. These printers are managed through PaperCut’s Faculty_Printers follow-me print queue, allowing you to send a print job once and release it from any printer in the pool.

When you sign in to a Ramapo-managed computer, the Faculty_Printers printer will already be available.

What Is a Follow-Me Queue?

The Faculty_Printers queue is a follow-me print queue. This means you can print to the queue from your computer and then release your print job from any of the printers listed above.

First-Time Setup

  1. Swipe your Ramapo ID card using the magnetic card reader.
  2. When prompted, sign in using your Ramapo username and password on the printer’s touchscreen.
  3. This pairs your ID card with your account.
  4. After pairing is complete, the printer will return to the login screen.
  5. Swipe your ID card again to sign in.

Note: Some of these printers previously required a PIN. PINs are no longer used. Once your ID card has been paired with your account, simply swipe your card to sign in on future visits.

Printing

  1. Swipe your Ramapo ID card to sign in.
  2. Select Print Release
  3. Select the document(s) you want to print.
  4. Press Print.
  5. When you are finished, press Logout.

Copying

  1. Swipe your Ramapo ID card to sign in.
  2. Select Access Device.
  3. Select Copy.
  4. Use the copier as you normally would.
  5. When you are finished, press Logout.

Scanning to Email

  1. Swipe your Ramapo ID card to sign in.
  2. Select Scan.
  3. Select Scan to My Email.
  4. Press Start to begin scanning.
  5. When you have finished scanning, press Finish
  6. Your scanned document will be emailed to your Ramapo email address as a PDF.
  7. Press Logout.
