Thomas “Rod” McVeigh, Retired Director of Human Resources, Konica Minolta Business Solutions
Mr. McVeigh was raised in Tokyo, Japan, and received his Bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College with majors in both economics and political science. He started working in Kansas City for Midland Electronics, then moved to the East Coast to work for Beneficial Finance in Morristown. He began his career with Minolta Corporation in 1980 in Human Resources.
Minolta, and later, Konica Minolta is currently a manufacturer and distributor of office equipment including copiers, systems printers, fax machines, and production printing systems. They have also been involved in the creation and sales of the software and systems to integrate and support office efficiency. There are presently over seven thousand five hundred Konica Minolta employees in the United States.
In 1995 Mr. McVeigh received a Masters of Business Administration from Rutgers University.
He has been involved in a number of community-based organizations including Project Literacy where he served as president for a number of years. His youngest son holds a B.F. A. and a B.A. from Ramapo College, earned in 2017 and 2021.
