Trudy Hardy ’91, Head of Region Americas, BMW Motorrad BMW of North America, LLC
Ms. Hardy assumed the position of Head of Region Americas for the BMW Motorcycle Business in July of 2019. In this position she is responsible for managing all aspects of business operations, including sales, service, marketing, product strategy and dealer development for the United States, Canada and Latin America. Prior to moving to BMW Motorrad, Hardy was the Vice President of Marketing and Product Strategy for BMW of North America from 2013 – 2019.
Hardy joined the BMW Group in 2001 to re-launch the MINI brand in the United States. She was responsible for brand strategy and marketing communications for one of the most iconic brand launches of all time.
Over the course of her 20+ year career in automotive, Hardy has received a number of distinguished honors ranging from Gold Lions and Gold Effie awards, to being named one of AdWeek Magazine’s Brand Geniuses.
Hardy earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing from Ramapo College and is an active member of the Board of Governors for the college and is a member of the alumni advisory board for the Anisfield School of Business.
Hardy is a proud mom of two children, and enjoys scuba diving and riding motorcycles in her free time.
