1:00-1:50 PM: Canvas Basics: Overview, Navigation, Settings, Modules, Discussions, and Announcements

Learn the basics of Canvas including the dashboard, global navigation, course navigation, and recommended settings. Learn how to add content to the Modules, including files, web links, and more. Communicate course info through Announcements; increase student engagement through Discussions.

Learn how to add Assignments, organize Assignment Groups, employ the Speedgrader, and use the Canvas Gradebook book for efficient and effective assignment grading and feedback.

Learn how to use the YuJa platform to record and post lecture videos. Edit your videos from within YuJa and embed quiz questions that can feed into the Canvas Gradebook.
