3D Printing

April 20, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 1:50 pm

Have you heard of the general term Rapid Prototyping or more specifically Stereo Lithography and wondered why anyone would want to print objects from a computer? Our printer extrudes Polylactic Acid Plastic instead of chocolate or ceramic. Did you know you can print chocolate? Come see how it works, why it works, and why you or your students might want to use it.

Pedagogy Connection: This workshop highlights how new technology can support innovative instruction. Attendees will learn ideas for how 3D printing could be infused into their classrooms and instruction.

Open to everyone.
