At Ramapo College, the Facilities Administration Offices are the heartbeat of our campus infrastructure, dedicated to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and sustainable environment for our vibrant community of students, faculty, and staff. The Grounds Maintenance mission is to design, nurture, and maintain outdoor spaces that inspire and support learning, relaxation, and community engagement. Our team meticulously tends to the upkeep of lawns, gardens, trees, and shrubbery, ensuring they remain healthy and vibrant throughout the seasons.
Building Services is the group within Facilities that is responsible for campus disinfection, cleanliness of campus buildings, event set-up assistance, and furniture/office relocation logistics. This includes the supervision of an external cleaning contractor in certain campus buildings.
Building Utilities – HVAC
Ramapo College HVAC team comprises experienced professionals well-versed in the intricate systems that regulate heating, cooling, and air quality across our campus. Their expertise extends to troubleshooting, repairs, and ongoing maintenance of our HVAC infrastructure.
Receiving / Storeroom
Receivers accept packaged and palleted deliveries, verify and record incoming merchandise and arrange timely distribution of materials to the College community.
Building Maintenance – Repairs & Trades
The Building Maintenance group is primarily responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, repair, and maintenance of campus buildings. They handle tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
All emergencies are responded to as quickly as possible.
Routine work requests are scheduled by the Supervisors.

If you require immediate assistance, problems such as no power, elevator malfunctions, plumbing leaks/clogs, no heat/AC any lock related problem, or health safety concerns please call the Service Desk at extension 7660.
All requests for Phone Service should be called into extension 7777 or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
All requests for cable TV problems should be called into extension 7604 (Media Services) or emailed to email@example.com.
Any emergencies that occur between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. OR on weekends should be reported to Public Safety at extension 6666.
