Dr. Heath “Hank” Brightman, is a full professor and Director of Applied Research & Analysis at the U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. He previously served as Chair and Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at Saint Peter’s University from 2000-2008, and possesses more than 20 years of experience in federal law enforcement, military service, emergency response, and trauma reduction and wellness enhancement. Dr. Brightman holds a Doctorate in Education, three master’s degrees (in Criminal Justice, Leadership, and Counseling), and two certificates of advanced graduate studies in mental health, therapeutic counseling, and pattern analysis for organizations and individuals.
