Maritza N. Guananga ’11 is employed at Goldman Sachs in New York City as a Product Controller. Maritza earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Ramapo’s Anisfield School of Business. During her time at Ramapo she was heavily involved in the Finance Club and competed in the CME Group Commodity Trading Challenge. Ramapo College finished in 5th place out of 16 teams that competed in the Championship Round, beating out teams from Columbia University, Vanderbilt University and New York University.

 

Ken Walsh ’11 earned his degree in Information Systems from Ramapo’s Anisfield School of Business. Upon graduation, Ken accepted a position with AT&T Wireless as an Associate Application Developer. Ken served as Captain of the Ramapo College Varsity Men’s Cross Country Team and the Men’s Track and Field Team. He also interned for the U.S. Department of Defense for several years designing, implementing and testing virtualization solutions for the U.S. Army.

 

 

D’auja Nelson ’11 earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Ramapo’s School of Theoretical and Applied Science. D’auja was accepted to graduate school at William Paterson University of New Jersey. She is pursuing her Master’s degree while employed with Emergency Medical Associates as a clinical technician.

 

 

 

Laura Hahn ’11 earned her degree in Communication Arts from Ramapo’s School of Contemporary Arts. While a student Laura was elected to and served the RCNJ Board of Trustees as Student Trustee. She completed internships in the Intergovernmental Affairs Office and in Congressman Scott Garrett’s Office. She is employed as a case worker in the Office of Constituent Relations in the NJ Governor’s Office.

 

 

Dr. Paramjeet S. Bagga, professor of biology at Ramapo, was one of the original
founders of the College’s Bioinformatics Program. Dr. Bagga was recently published in Yale University’s peer reviewed Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine where he wrote of the challenges of establishing a highly interdisciplinary program and how those challenges can be overcome to offer a successful curriculum that prepares students for a wide variety of careers in high demand. Professor Bagga teaches Introduction to Biology, Fundamentals of Biology, Microbiology, Cell & Molecular Biology, and Bioinformatics.
