Capture and Share Your Lectures with the New TechSmith Relay

September 19, 2019 @ 1:00 pm - 1:50 pm

This session will introduce you to the capabilities of the newest version of TechSmith Relay to record lectures and presentations that can be shared with students. Capture everything that you can display on a computer screen, including PowerPoint presentations, and interactions with software or web sites. Along with the video from the computer screen, record your voice and other audio, and optionally your face with a webcam. The simplicity of Relay makes it easy to record, publish and share your videos. Relay allows you to add quiz questions to your videos, as well. Relay is installed in classrooms on all PC teaching stations. Relay is available for students to use as well.

Pedagogy Connection: TechSmith Relay enables instructors to create high quality and engaging instructional videos for any course. This mode of instructional delivery helps students to learn course content at their own pace and on their own time. Instructional videos also enable instructors to “flip” the classroom by covering the content online and helping students to practice or discuss the concepts in class.

Open to faculty and staff.
