This workshop will give participants the opportunity to explore how to use Canvas while building their courses within the system. We will cover options for account and course-level settings, structuring a course with Modules and Pages, uploading and importing content, creating assignments, grading student work, and providing feedback. Participants will be able to work on their own courses as the presenter leads through examples. IDC staff will be on hand to assist individuals each step of the way.

Pedagogy Connection: For Summer 2020 and beyond, Canvas will become the LMS, and Moodle will no longer be available. This workshop guides instructors on how to use Canvas as a tool for delivering and managing assignments, facilitating group work, and enhancing the student experience in the classroom.
