Thomas Dunn, Esq., Retired Counsel, Beattie Padovano, LLC
Mr. Dunn is an attorney and a retired counsel with Beattie Padovano LLC in Montvale. Over his career, he served as the attorney for the Borough of Upper Saddle River, the Upper Saddle River planning board, the Saddle River board of adjustment, the Weehawken planning board, the Teaneck Redevelopment Agency, the Bergen County Library System and the boards of education for Closter and Alpine. He has also been an associate counsel to the N.J. League of Municipalities. Tom is an historian and an expert on local history. He serves as treasurer and archive director of the Mahwah Museum. Mr. Dunn is a past president of the Mahwah Chamber of Commerce, the Hackensack Rotary Club and the Mahwah board of education. He has been honored with the “William M. Cox Award” for excellence in land use practice and the “Fred G. Stickel Award” for his effort to advance the interests of municipal law. He is a former chair and member of the College board of trustees. He was honored as a Distinguished Citizen in 2001 and is an honorary member of Omicron Kappa Delta. Mr. Dunn earned his B.S.E. in civil engineering from Princeton University and an L.L.B. from Columbia University School of Law.
