John Ward, CEO, Compression Institute

Mr. Ward is CEO of the Compression Institute, a non-profit organization which advocates business and economic practices to meet the challenges of based on the ideas of Robert “Doc” Hall as summarized in his book, “Compression.” Mr. Ward served as senior vice president at Meldisco for 15 years, then as an international consultant on company turnarounds for 12 years.  Mr. Ward is the recipient of the Presidential Award from the Cost and Savings Council.  He is former executive director of the Association for Manufacturing Excellence.  He holds degrees in computer science from both New York University and New York Institute of Technology
