The Arch Legacy Society Bequest Challenge

The Arch Legacy Society Bequest Challenge

You can shape the future of Ramapo College with a gift today
Join THE ARCH LEGACY SOCIETY BEQUEST CHALLENGE

As a proud member of the Ramapo College community, you understand and appreciate the value of a public liberal arts education, taught at a personal level, and that challenges individuals to discover their full potential.

Your faith in Ramapo is shared by many, including two alumni who, along with others, have established The Arch Legacy Society Bequest Challenge and, today, invite you to join them.

Together, Christine ’74 and Al Beck, Victoria’78 and Drew Hodgdon and the Hodgdon Family Foundation, and an anonymous donor are challenging 30 other individuals to establish a bequest or other planned giving commitment to the Ramapo College Foundation. Once 30 commitments are received, these generous and forward-thinking supporters will donate $20,000 to the Fund for Ramapo College.

Join the challenge and make a difference in the lives of future students and the world

Your participation will not only ensure that the challenge is met and the donation received, it will also ensure the important work of the Ramapo College Foundation can continue now and into the future. Your support will make it possible for Ramapo to continue to embrace new ideas and emerging opportunities, offer an array of student scholarships, and provide diverse programs that are collaborative and innovative in nature, and more.  The aspects of a Ramapo education you value will be preserved for the future.

Make a difference where it matters most to you

By completing and returning the bequest intention form, your gift will count immediately for the challenge and in the future when it arrives. Funds can be earmarked for the Ramapo cause(s) that are closest to your heart.

A bequest intention form is non-binding; individuals can change their minds as their circumstances change. The form is to show that you are making plans now – and it provides direction for how your bequest should be utilized upon its arrival at Ramapo.

The Challenge represents a wonderful way to assist, and invest in, the important work of the Ramapo College Foundation, now and into the future.

How you can participate:

    1. Name the Ramapo College Foundation as a beneficiary of a planned gift whose value is $500 or greater. All planned gifts completed, documented, and/or communicated to the Ramapo College Foundation for the first time will qualify for the Bequest Challenge. This includes gifts through wills, charitable gift annuities, trusts, retirement plans, investment accounts, life insurance policies, and donations to create endowed funds.
    2. Share your plans with the Ramapo College Foundation. Document your planned gift by completing and returning a bequest intention form.  You can choose to remain anonymous, should you wish.

Your planned gift will bring us one step closer to unlocking the challenge and benefitting the Fund for Ramapo College.
