Partnership Impact
Transformative partnerships create transformative impact.
We believe partnerships should create lasting value and transformational impact for your company, our students and the broader community. There is no one-size-fits-all approach; we encourage conversation and collaboration. Here are some examples of what a partnership with Ramapo College can do:
Access to Education & Student Success
Provide access to education and opportunity through scholarships and student support.

BD (Becton Dickinson) is addressing New Jersey’s growing healthcare workforce shortage by investing in the success and retention of Ramapo’s nursing students. Through support of the We Care Program, BD provides critical resources for students facing unexpected financial hardship, helping remove barriers that could prevent them from completing the “last mile” of their education. This partnership, which includes engagement of BD’s Associate Resource Group, the Nurse Network, ensures more future healthcare professionals stay on track to graduate, enter the workforce, and serve communities across the region.
Scholarships provide opportunities for talented students to access a Ramapo education and build career-ready skills. Through its support of the First-Generation Accounting Scholarship, Forvis Mazars is investing in Ramapo students who are the first in their families to attend college – opening doors to possibility while building a pipeline of skilled accounting talent.
Valley Bank creates pathways to opportunity for Ramapo students through support of the We Care Program, the First-Generation Student Center, as well as signature events. Valley employees make an impact by engaging in career panels, service on advisory boards, and sharing their expertise via financial literacy workshops that empower underserved students to break limiting cycles and build stability.
Experiential Learning & Workforce Development
Help develop tomorrow’s talent through experiential learning, internships and career opportunities.
Veolia is strengthening workforce development in New Jersey through a combination of scholarship support, experiential learning and career-connected education – expanding access to higher education while preparing students for careers in environmental science, sustainability and related STEM fields. Recently, over 30 Environmental Science students visited Veolia’s Haworth Water Treatment Plant, connecting classroom and lab learning with real-world operations, industry standards and the critical role Veolia plays in protecting communities and the environment.
The DMC Community Impact Project connects nonprofits with Ramapo students who, through paid, faculty-supervised internships, develop data and technology solutions to real-world challenges. Students gain hands-on experience while helping organizations expand their capacity and impact. M&T Charitable Foundation is Ramapo’s first corporate partner to invest in this initiative, supporting student-driven solutions for organizations including the Center for Food Action, CUMAC, MEVO and the Ramapough Lenape Nation.
