Canvas features robust tools for increasing student engagement in a course. This workshop focuses on communications with students through tools like discussions, forums, multimedia feedback, and more. Participants will view examples from a current course and explore how communication tools can enhance the student experience and increase student engagement. 

Pedagogy Connection: Canvas will become Ramapo’s Learning Management System over the course of this year. This workshop guides instructors on how to use Canvas as a tool for increasing student engagement through communication tools, including discussions, forums, and more.
