New PT Hourly Checklist/Coach

Welcome to Ramapo College of New Jersey!

We are so happy that you have decided to join our team and become a member of the Ramapo community.  As a new employee you are required to complete Sections 1-3 on this website.  Section 1 contains the forms that you are required to print and return to the Benefits Office at D-115. Section 2 contains the policies and procedures that you need to acknowledge (Notification of Receipt of Policies and Procedures Form needs to be signed) that you have read and understand these policies.

Now that you have been hired you can access information and resources for employees of Ramapo College.

Please be advised that before being placed on the College’s payroll, you will need to provide proof that you are legally authorized to work in the United States. You will need to complete a Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, (see step 1 below) and provide appropriate documentation. If you are a nonimmigrant who needs sponsorship for an H-1B Visa, or if you have any questions regarding the requirements of the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and immigration service, please contact Ramapo College’s Office of International Education at (201) 684-7533 as soon as possible.

Please complete Steps 1 and 2 and schedule an appointment with the Office of Employee Services and Records at ext. 7065.  After your meeting in the Office of Employee Services and Records you will be able to proceed to Step 3.

Step 1 – Required Forms for ALL New PT Hourly/Coach

Print and return ALL signed forms to the Employee Records (Room D-119B). The Employee Records will then place you into active employee status so you can access adjunct, coach or part-time hourly services (step 3).


* If you are a resident of Pennsylvania, complete Pennsylvania W4 in place of NJ W4.
** Coaches ONLY

Step 3 – Electronic Services, Parking and I.D. Cards

STOP! Please contact the Benefits Office at Ext. 7230 before completing STEP 3. 
Photo I.D. and Parking Access Card are available in C-102 upon authorization from the Benefits Office.
