Student Organization Awards

Overview:

The Student Organization Awards recognize outstanding organizations through categories including the following: educational events, social engagement, civic engagement, school spirit, cultural awareness, social justice, and equity and diversity.

Awards That Will Be Presented:

-Outstanding New Organization of the Year

-Organization of the Year

-Advisor of the Year

-Program of the Year

The organizations that win these awards are recognized at the combination Student Government Association Inauguration/Club Awards Dinner. We encourage all clubs and organizations to apply for the Student Organization Awards! It is a great way to showcase the hard work your club or organization has done during the year.

How to Apply: 

The End of the Year Report includes a section to apply for the Student Organization Awards. This form can be found on Archway.

The Awards:

Outstanding New Organization of the Year

This award is given to the CSI-registered organization that displays outstanding effort in all areas, in relation to its purpose, based on the following criteria:

  • Leadership of the Organization in reaching its first-year goals.
  • Contributions to the College and/or outside community in the areas of; educational events, social engagement, civic engagement, school spirit, cultural awareness, social justice, and equity and diversity.
  • Recruitment and development of its members.
  • Communication with related departments and other student organizations
Organization of the Year

**Additional recognition or awards may be given to outstanding organizations so please be thorough

This award is given to the CSI-registered student organizations that displays outstanding effort in all areas, in relation to its purpose, based on the following criteria:

  • Leadership of the organization in reaching its goals
  • Contributions to the college and/or outside community in the areas of; educational events, social engagement, civic engagement, school spirit, cultural awareness, social justice, and equity and diversity.
  • Development of its members
  • Communication with related departments and other student organizations
Adviser of the Year Award

This award honors an adviser who has exhibited outstanding dedication and service to his/her organization and to the Ramapo Community
