Ramapo Leadership Institute

The Ramapo Leadership Institute is held annually in August to provide a transformative leadership experience for students involved in clubs and organizations on campus. The Institute focuses on developing lifelong leadership skills, leading with integrity, and providing a foundation of knowledge to help your organization be successful for the upcoming year. The Institute brings together students from a variety of roles on campus to learn from each other and discover new ways to more effectively lead their organizations. Leaders will also engage incoming students through service and outreach opportunities.

The Ramapo Leadership Institute is open to any student who is actively involved with a recognized club, organization, fraternity, or sorority. Applicants do not need to hold a formal leadership role, but they must be committed to strengthening their club or organization as well as their own personal leadership development. All organizations are strongly encouraged to have at least one representative attend.

  • Housing: Participants who live on campus will have the opportunity to check in early to your fall  room assignment.
  • Cost: Free! The Institute is fully funded by the Center for Student Involvement. This includes all meals during the institute.
  • How to apply: Applications are available early each summer. To request to be notified when applications are made available please contact the Center For Student Involvement (csi@ramapo.edu)
