FDD: Gender Diversity in the Classroom: Creating a Supportive Environment

Are you hoping to support transgender and gender-variant students but are not sure how? Have you worried you were going to “say the wrong thing” by accident? If so, then this is the workshop for you. This discussion will center on trans and gender-variant identities, and questions related to pronoun usage, classroom materials, and other practices to consider in your pursuit of creating positive, welcoming, and equitable learning environments. Please come with questions and a song in your heart.
