School of Humanities and Global Studies Alumni Advisory Board members Tom Hewitt ’75, Antonietta “Toni” Brower ’02 and alumna Kristen Moledo ’11 were panelists for the HGS First Year Seminar group class November 26. The alumni shared their stories of life after Ramapo with more than 50 freshmen. They described the importance of a liberal arts education, including the need to develop good communication skills, obtain work or internship experience, build a network with current students, friends, faculty, parent and business contacts and to enjoy all that Ramapo has to offer.
Dr. Joanne Florio ’81, chair of the Theoretical and Applied Science Alumni Advisory Board, Dr. Carolyn Merkel ‘78, president of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and TAS board member; and alumna Carol Ramage ’91 took part in the Cahill Center S.T.E.M. Careers Panel November 27. They spoke about the qualities employers look for in entry level candidates, skill to develop and provided career tips.

The Annual Men’s Soccer Alumni and Family Day was held October 6. Following a game against the alumni, and a scheduled match versus RPI, participants enjoyed lunch at the Mahwah Bar and Grill.

Keeping with tradition, the 19th Annual Summer Reunion for new alumni was held at Bar-A in Belmar, NJ on July 14. The event drew 75 alumni.
