Suvaani Ranasinghe

Suvaani Ranasinghe of Sparta, N.J. is a Marketing major and Music minor. She has a 3.08 GPA and is planning on enrolling in the 4+1 Marketing Flex MBA Program.

At Ramapo, she is a part of the Fashion Club and works on campus at the Starbucks in the Common Grounds. As a sophomore, she hopes to get more involved on campus and explore new opportunities in her years here.

Suvaani is a 1st generation American and is excited to earn a Master’s degree in 2026. She has also had another job for 2 years in a cafe in her hometown and is a shift leader there. Suvaani also has a deep passion for music and hopes to get a marketing position at a music company in the future.

Maddi Endowed Scholarship

The Maddi Endowed Scholarship was established by Don Maddi, a member of the Ramapo College Foundation Board of Governors.  Mr. Maddi is retired from C.R. Bard, a provider of medical products and services, where he served as vice president for Compensation and Benefits.  The purpose of the Maddi Award is to recognize deserving students in the Anisfield School of Business.
