Charlanna Beirne

Charlanna Beirne of Howell, N.J. is a History major and Museum and Exhibition Studies minor, with a focus on German History. She has a 3.77 GPA and is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

Off campus, Charlanna is involved with the Greater Shore Concert Band, where she performed at Carnegie Hall and in multiple European countries. 

After graduating, she hopes to work as a Curator in Germany.

Clark, Marilyn J. Scholarship Endowment

Marilyn J. Clark attended Ramapo College as a returning adult student. Majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Psychology, she completed her degree in 1979.  As the mother of two sons, Walt Jamros ’95 and William Jamros, Ms. Clark attended the College part-time while working full-time at the Saddle River Day School.  She had a successful 29-year career at Saddle River Day School and served as the Director of Development.

Ms. Clark was recently honored by Congressman Josh Gottheimer as a “hometown hero” for her tremendous volunteer efforts. She also received the President’s Award of Merit, the highest award given to a Ramapo alumnus, at the 2019 Commencement ceremony.

Ms. Clark created this scholarship to benefit students from single-parent households.
