Sabrina Manoo of Hackensack, N.J. is an English and Literary Studies major. She is a first-generation college student and is planning on receiving her teaching certification.
At Hackensack High School, she had a 3.8 GPA, and was a part of the Tri-M Music Honors Society. There, she was a flute player in the marching band, a bassist for the Hackensack Stardust Jazz band, and was a part of her school’s volunteer group, Comet Ambassadors.
Sabrina says, “My ultimate goal is to be a trusted educator that will always be there for my students and help them reach their full potential.”
The mission of the Ramapo College Foundation is to “provide the resources that make a difference in Ramapo College’s quest for education excellence.” A critical means of fulfilling this mission is to provide scholarships for outstanding freshmen. The Board of Governors of the Foundation is committed to increasing this endowment, and through their support of events and other initiatives, helps provide the funds for these scholarships.
