Welcome to the Nursing Programs at Ramapo College!

We offer all of our students intimate attention and guidance, and have prestigious clinical partnerships that are unique in nursing education. Our clinical partner, The Valley Hospital, has been designated as a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) which certifies hospitals as centers of excellence in nursing. This partnership allows students in our programs to experience nursing in one of the best nursing departments in the country!

Ramapo College offers five Nursing Programs:

  1. The Generic Nursing (BSN) program is for individuals who are preparing to become a nurse.
  2. The Accelerated BSN program is a second bachelor’s degree program catered to those looking to pursue a career change in nursing.
  3. The RN to BSN track for nurses with their RN license returning to school for the BSN degree.
  4. The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is for BSN-prepared nurses interested in advancing in their careers and has 4 track options:
  5. The Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) is a post-Master’s program designed for nurses seeking a terminal Nursing degree.

All graduates of the past 3 years have received nursing positions within one year of graduation. Graduates of all programs are working across the United States in various areas of nursing. Some graduates are working within our own program, so the opportunities are endless!
