Project L.E.A.D. is a professional development and leadership series hosted by the Coordinator of Student Activities, Jack Nesmith for all Ramapo College members to learn about a core leadership topic. From public speaking for your next opportunity to learning how to manage an event, these sessions are open to the public to attend for the academic year.
Any interested member of the community can RSVP for our events on Archway. Listed below are some events from this semester with the titles and bios:
9/25 Project L.E.A.D. Following Your Fantastic Leadership: Leadership can be “fantastic” as you work your way to get involved on campus and discover your leadership style as a Ramapo Roadrunner! Learn how you can use your skills for new leadership experiences and make impactful connections during your time at college by attending this session. Project L.E.A.D. Following Your Fantastic Leadership will cover four leadership theories using the first family of Marvel Comics, the Fantastic Four.
10/9: Project L.E.A.D. Treat Yo Self-Care: Overcome the pressure of stress this semester by attending Project L.E.A.D. Treat Yo Self-Care happening on Thursday, October 19th at 1pm in room A-101. Discover how you can use self-care to plan an ideal “treat yo self day” and take some of your time during the academic year. Students that attend this season can learn about informative ways to take care of your mental and personal health while balancing your academics, goals, leadership positions, and more!
11/6: Project L.E.A.D. Touchdown For Success: Sports & Motivational Leadership: It’s time to lock in with some motivational leadership! Learn how you can make this rest of this semester a success with encouragement, dedication, and hard work using themes from sports cultures and teams at this month’s Project L.E.A.D. This session will provide insightful tips and positive conversations with other student leaders.
All session will be held from 1pm-2pm in room A-101 at the dates listed below:
