EOF Services Update (COVID-19)

Following the guidelines for social distancing to curb the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), our office has modified its delivery of services to continue to help students. Due to COVID-19 cases, please note that our advisors are primarily available for virtual meetings. If you need to see your advisor in person, contact him/her directly to schedule an appointment. If you need to contact us with general questions, please call our office number 201-684-7542 or direct your questions to, and we will reply to your message within one business day. Thank you for your patience during this time.

The mission of the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) at Ramapo College of New Jersey is to provide access to higher education and support for highly motivated students who exhibit the potential for success, but who come from families/communities disadvantaged by low income and a lack of access to quality educational preparation necessary to attend college. The EOF program provides such students full-time admission to the college, and the support needed to maintain their continued enrollment through graduation. This support includes grants and scholarships minimizing the financial burden of college attendance; and services designed to foster academic success and scholarship, promote social responsibility, and involve students in connecting their education to the world of work and graduate study.

Give to the EOF Scholarship –

“I am eternally grateful to all of the EOF staff. The EOF Program has provided me with so many opportunities these past four years, all of which I thought I would never get to do. From the academic bootcamp we were all subjected to in 2016, to going abroad twice, to finally being a graduating senior. This program and all who work with it deserve the highest of praise because you have all taught us how to work hard, how to grow up, and have guided us through the tough time that college is. I am more than happy to consider EOF a family, and I will never forget it.”                                                        Warren Semper class of 2020
