Reclaim My Math is a targeted review that allows students to sharpen their skills and at the end of the program, retake their math placement test.

Over the last few years of the program, 80% of the students who complete the program test up into the 100 level.

Over 95% of students who complete RMM, successfully complete their first Math 100-level course at Ramapo. This number exceeds Ramapo’s own excellent course success rates.

Course Expectations to Earn the Opportunity to Re-test 

Attend 1 of the 2 Enrollment Meetings 

Tuesday, July 8, 5:00-5:30pm Enrollment Meeting & Study Skills for Mathematics (In Person)

Wednesday, July 9, 5:00-5:30pm Enrollment Meeting & Study Skills for Mathematics (Virtual) 

Attend At Least 2 Additional Meetings (Attending one of each topic is strongly encouraged): 

• Tuesday, July 8, 5:30-7pm Overcoming Math Anxiety (In Person) 
• Wednesday, July 9, 5:30-7pm Overcoming Math Anxiety (Virtual) 
• Tuesday, July 15, 5:30-7pm Word Problems (In Person) 
• Wednesday, July 16, 5:30-7pm Word Problems (Virtual) 
• Tuesday, July 22, 5:30-7pm Problem Solving Strategies (In Person) 
• Wednesday, July 23, 5:30-7pm Problem Solving Strategies (Virtual) 
• Tuesday, July 29, 5:30-7pm Test Prep strategies (In Person) 
• Wednesday, July 30, 5:30-7pm Test Prep strategies (Virtual) 
• Tuesday, August 5, 5:30-7pm Final Review (In person) 
• Wednesday, August 6, 5:30-7pm Final Review (Virtual) 
• Week of August 11 – 14 Re-test 

While it is in the student’s best interest to attend every class, if that is not possible, the following is required to qualify to re-test: (remember all meetings/classes are both In Person and Virtually) 

• Attend one enrollment meeting and two additional meetings 
• Complete the computer-assigned study plan (for a minimum of 4 hours/week, 20 hours total over the course of the program)
  • This plan can be completed on any computer/mobile device with internet access
• Schedule re-test through the Testing Center as directed by the instructor 
• This program is designed to progress student placement through re-testing; however, advancing placement is not guaranteed 

• All hours must be complete by Wednesday, August 6th
