“I am very thankful that I decided to attend and live away at Ramapo College. It was the right sized school for me, and I got the chance to save money both by being in state and being here on scholarship. Studying abroad through Ramapo was an absolutely amazing experience! I learned so much about Japanese culture, and one aspect I admired is that many Japanese tend to fix things when they are broken rather than throw them away. It speaks a great deal about their commitment to sustainability. I also enjoyed going to karaoke on Friday nights and I suggest to anyone who has plans to study in Japan that they should try it. There was so much more I wanted to see and do while in Japan but time didn’t allow. Perhaps I can return one day. I would absolutely recommend studying in Japan, a truly magnificent country.” – Angad Bhogal ’18 is an Information Technology Management major.
