Paul Bernhard

“I have a strong interest in learning about history, and fact-finding, which was a big factor in why I selected History as my major,” says Paul Bernhard of Waldwick, N.J. He is a History major and has maintained a 3.8 GPA.

At Ramapo, Paul has been an active member of the college. He is a part of the Ramapo Gamers/E-sports, the Smash Club, and the Hiking Club. Paul has participated in video gaming sessions with fellow club members, who he enjoys hanging out with, and has participated in hikes to the Ramapo Reservation and Ramapo Mountain State Forest

Paul has also been involved in off-campus organizations, including Meals on Wheels, and the Out of the Darkness walk for suicide prevention. Paul currently works part-time at J. A. McFaul Environmental Center in Wykoff, N.J.

After Ramapo, Paul plans to pursue a career that involves museum work, fact-finding, and the research of historical events.

Ramapo College Foundation Scholarship

The mission of the Ramapo College Foundation is to “provide the resources that make a difference in Ramapo College’s quest for education excellence.” A critical means of fulfilling this mission is to provide scholarships for outstanding freshmen. The Board of Governors of the Foundation is committed to increasing this endowment, and through their support of events and other initiatives, helps provide the funds for these scholarships.
