Misha Choudhry of Montville, NJ is a Literature major with minors in Sociology and Spanish Language Studies. She is in the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society.
At Ramapo, Misha has been actively involved with several organizations, including the Diversity Action Committee Student Club, You’re Not Alone Anti-Bullying Club, and Theta Nu Xi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. She is also a consultant at the Center for Reading and Writing.
The Barbara Barnett Memorial Scholarship was established by Dr. Beth Barnett, who served as Provost of Ramapo College, in memory of her sister. It is awarded to a Literature major with a GPA of 3.5 or greater.
This recipient is selected by the Dean of the School of Humanities and Global Studies in consultation with the Literature faculty convening group.
