Favorite Class: My favorite class was my CRWT class last semester. I did not expect too much from that class since writing is not my strong suit, but the teacher for that class created such a comfortable and fun atmosphere that I was able to bond with my classmates and express my opinions without judgement.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is the practice room in the Berrie Center because that’s where I can de-stress from classes and recharge my social battery.

Clubs/organizations: I am a part of the Filipino-American Student Association (FASA) and the United Asians Association (UAA) on campus. Both of these clubs really brought me out of my shell and helped me make the strongest connections at Ramapo. They have helped me become more social since many events are done with other clubs from different schools.

Future Plans: I plan to study abroad in Asia or Europe and intern/extern at a hospital over the summer in order to gain experience for when I am a nurse. I am also planning on working at a music production studio to produce other people’s and my own music.

Advice for First-Year Students: Take things slow, you have so much time ahead of you. Enjoy college and create as many connections as you can, because you’ll look back and realize how quick college went.
