FYS Class:

Class of: 2026

Major/Minor: Neuroscience

Resident/Commuter: Commuter

Favorite Class: Intro to Neuroscience because I have always been interested in the parts of the brain and how they function, and because Neuroscience is my major, it is exciting to start to learn more in-depth about how and why it causes us to do day-to-day activities.

Favorite Place on Campus: The library because I can book a study room, get all my work done with friends, and look at the view while studying. It is also relaxing if I want to ease my mind after a long stressful class.

Future Plans: I plan to study abroad eventually, volunteer at the hospital, and apply to a program that could potentially help me get into medical school.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: Sometimes we’re tested not to show our weaknesses, but to show to discover our strengths.

Advice for First-Year Students: It’s okay not to have everything figured out, and everything will eventually fall into place.
