Favorite Class: My FYS Coming of Age film class has been my current favorite college course. It was fascinating to watch films about the transition to adulthood from many cultures throughout the world. I particularly enjoyed learning about the narrative structures, formal elements, and themes of the films we watched in class.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is the library. It is a nice place to study, and you can also book a study room if you want to study with friends. And they have Starbucks.

Clubs/organizations: I am an active member of FASA and UAA. Both associations provide cultural awareness among the students of Ramapo College. I have made lifelong friends who share my background and memories that I will cherish for a lifetime.

Future Plans: I want to gain experience working as an RN and eventually earn my master’s to become a nurse practitioner.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: Do it for the plot.

Advice for First-Year Students: Join clubs so you can meet people who share the same interests as you. Take advantage of all the resources on campus that are available to you.
