Favorite Class: Right now, my favorite class is Astronomy. When I was younger, I loved stargazing and learning about the planets, and my dad used to own a telescope that we would use together. The universe is vast and full of mysteries, and there is still so much we don’t know. Astronomy has been such a fascinating course for me, and I’ve enjoyed learning about the universe beyond our planet.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is the library. The library is one of my favorite spots to study in, especially reserving a study room with friends. The library also has Starbucks so I love stopping there any chance I get.

Clubs/organizations: I am a part of 1STEP, the beekeeping club, and W.I.N. Peer educators.

Future Plans: I plan to study abroad in Europe next year to explore and immerse myself in other cultures. My post-graduation plans are to get a job in the marketing industry and design and execute campaigns for companies.

Advice for First-Year Students: Life is going to work out perfectly. All the right things are going to happen, even if they feel wrong in the moment. It’s okay to feel overwhelmed. Take every day as it goes.
