Marcos Lucero

Class of: 2025

Major/Minor: Political Science

Resident/Commuter: Commuter

Favorite Class: US Supreme Court because professor Unger makes the class so entertaining and I am still able to learn and understand the concepts.

Favorite Place on Campus: The learning commons because I can get my work done and honestly just relax between classes. It also helps that there is a starbucks in there.

Clubs/Organizations: The peer program because I love meeting new people and helping others in the way I was helped when I first came to Ramapo.

Future Plans: My immediate future plans include a trip to Spain and Portugal this summer but as for my post graduation plans I hope to further my education in either graduate school or law school, not entirely sure yet.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “Quit, don’t quit. Noodles, don’t noodles… You are too concerned with what was and what will be. There’s a saying: Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but to day is a gift. That is why it is called the present.” – Master Oogway, Kung Fu Panda.

Advice for First-Year Students: Don’t be afraid to ask for help or to reach out to professors/advisors or peer facilitators!
