Julianna Fernandez-Ruiz

Class of: 2025

Major/Minor: Nursing Major

Resident/Commuter: Commuter

Favorite Class: My favorite class has to be my anatomy and physiology lecture class. Although the subject is challenging, it has been fun learning about the various systems within our bodies. In addition, I am so fascinated by the topics and can’t wait to apply them in the future.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus has to be the learning commons & J-Lee’s. I spend most of my time on campus at J-lee’s, which is a friendly environment to be in. The learning commons is the best place to be during sunset and a great place to do homework and study.

Clubs/Organizations: Tri-alpha Alpha Lambda Delta Nursing Student Organization

Future Plans: My post-graduation plans included traveling, more specifically, traveling to go visiting the Frida Kahlo Museum and Louvre Museum.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “The beginning is perhaps more difficult than anything else, but keep heart; it will turn out all right.”-Vincent Van Gogh

Advice for First-Year Students: The big transition from high school to college is challenging, and that is okay. You might need time to adjust to the environment and pace of college and always do it at your rate. Stay true to yourself, take your time, and you’ll find your place here!
