RCNJ Radio Station WRPR Is Back

March 20, 2023

WRPR, the Ramapo College radio station, is back on-air after the pandemic interrupted operations. Students came together to find a way to return music to the airwaves. “For me it’s wonderful seeing a group that is excited and eager to learn and put out a good product. They take it seriously and really work hard to make sure that not only are they following all the guidelines but that they are really putting something out into the world that other people will enjoy and be entertained by. As a broadcaster myself, it’s great to be involved with them and to have the opportunity to guide them but really even if I wasn’t around, they have the tenacity and foresight to stand on their own and nurture a great station with a ton of potential for the future,” says Mike Gogel, manager of Media Services and WRPR staff advisor.
