Northern Ireland

Anya O’Connor, representing Northern Ireland, is Senior International Officer for North America at Queen’s University in Belfast and has 10+ years of experience. Originally from Belfast, she has lived in every region of the UK and is committed to developing positive international partnerships for Northern Ireland. Anya holds an MA in English Literature & Politics from the University of Glasgow.

Wales

Dr. Maggie Parke, representing Wales, is the Market Development Manager for the Study in Wales. She is American, and is the product of both the USA system (BA English) and the UK system (MA English and PhD Creative Industries). She’s been working in international education for more than 15 years for Bangor University in Wales. Now, her role with Universities Wales is to create opportunities and pathways between the USA and Wales. She loves helping students realize they have options worldwide.

Scotland

Joey Kirk, representing Scotland, is the International Recruitment Manager for the University of Glasgow. Joey relocated to Glasgow from Washington D.C. five years ago where he had worked for the British Council at the British Embassy. Originally from the Philadelphia, PA area, Joey holds a BA in Italian Studies from Dickinson College and MA in International Education from George Washington University. He has a passion for helping students explore international opportunities.
