The purpose of the Watershed Improvement Plan (WIP) is to identify opportunities to improve water quality, reduce stormwater contribution of pollutants to waterbodies with impairments and Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDLs), and to address stormwater flooding to protect human health and safety, and the environment.

Ramapo College will complete a comprehensive WIP in three phases as listed below.

• Phase 1-Watershed Inventory Report, completed December 2025
• Phase 2-Watershed Assessment Report
• Phase 3-Watershed Improvement Plan Report

A public information session was held on Friday December 12, 2025 at 1pm in SC 158.  Another session is planned for June 2026, more information to follow.  Comments can be submitted to ehs@ramapo.edu.
