Getting Started

Students in the School of Social Science and Human Services are required to complete the SSHS Pathways Program as part of their degree requirements. * The Program consists of three skills modules that can help students with their post-graduation plans, while still in school.

It is recommended students move through the modules sequentially, as the activities are designed to build upon one another. Most of the  Pathways activities require using the Cahill Center’s Handshake career management software. Please review this guide to familiarize yourself with the site’s features.

Module completion will be tracked by the Cahill Career Development Center and reported to the Registrar’s Office at regular intervals. Students can monitor their own progress toward completion through their CONNECT accounts.

*Applies to first year and transfer students first enrolled Fall 2016 or later.
