Plan Your Visit
In accordance with best practices developed by the performing arts industry nationwide, the State of New Jersey, and CDC guidelines, we are excited to begin the process of reopening the Berrie Center for the Performing and Visual Arts to the general public. We are committed to reducing the risk of exposure to COVID-19. To help ensure a safe and comfortable experience, all visitors must adhere to the safety protocols outlined below.
If you are feeling ill, we ask that you remain at home. Call our box office, prior to the performance, to discuss ticket credit or exchange options for a future performance.
Patrons must provide proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative PCR COVID-19 test within 3 days of the performance. Accepted forms for proof of full vaccination include a physical vaccine card with your name on it or on your mobile phone, a digital photo of your vaccine card, or the record of your vaccination displayed via the approved state app Docket or another official vaccine record. Photo ID is also required.
All staff and visitors are required to wear face coverings inside our venues.
We will be minimizing paper and other touch points as often as possible. Please be sure to check on the most updated ticketing procedure prior to your arrival.
The theaters will open 45 minutes prior to the start of the performance to allow for relaxed entry.
The Berrie Center staff and RCNJ security will enforce rules. Patrons who fail to comply will be asked to leave with no refund.
We welcome you back to the Berrie Center with new enhancements to create a safe and healthy event experience for you, our staff, and the artists. We now offer:
- Hand sanitizer stations, located throughout the lobby to encourage proper hygiene.
- CDC COVID-19 compliant filters and routine checks of the ventilation system.
- Enhanced cleaning protocols including use of CDC, NJ Department of Health, OSHA and EPA approved disinfectants.
Please note that the University’s Reopening Plan extends to the Berrie Center. Click here for additional details on RCNJ’s Reopening Plan.
Please understand our measures are being implemented with the safety of our patrons, artists and staff in mind. Guidance is changing rapidly and the safety measures outlined above are subject to change as conditions evolve.
